Warmth filled the room as colleagues gathered to bid farewell to Musa Dabo. After three years of dedicated service, the occasion was more than a goodbye, it was a celebration of a staff member whose blend of professionalism and empathy left a lasting impression.
Speaking at the event, the Vice President of Administration and Registrar, Mr. Daniel Okereke, praised Dabo’s contributions: “Dabo is among the best staff we have had in the short time he worked with AUN. His professionalism and character are exceptional.”
Hajiya Faiza Abubakar, AVP of Human Resources, highlighted his mentorship and patience. “Dabo’s dedication turned every challenge into a learning opportunity. He inspired his colleagues and strengthened the HR team through his example.” Colleagues across the department recalled his calm demeanor and steady guidance, qualities that proved invaluable in handling sensitive staff matters.
The Director of HR, Mr. Mustapha Abubakar, described Dabo’s departure as a major transition: “He has left an indelible mark through his selflessness and work ethic. Musa is a model of excellence whose absence will be deeply felt.”
His supervisor, Mrs. Monica Adama, emphasized both his competence and character, drawing nods of agreement from those who had worked most closely with him. “Dabo didn’t just manage tasks,” she said. “He combined strategic insight with genuine empathy, setting a standard for all of us.”
As the gathering drew to a close, one sentiment resonated clearly: Musa Dabo had not only fulfilled his role at AUN, he had shaped the people around him. He now moves on to a new opportunity in the United Arab Emirates, but the legacy of his dedication and humanity will endure.
