School of Engineering: Undergraduate Programs

While science focuses on understanding, engineering focuses on doing.

Engineering is about identifying real problems and designing practical solutions. At AUN, you will develop strong problem-solving, design, and analytical skills through a balance of theory and hands-on practice, supported by world-class faculty and modern laboratories.

Our programs emphasize innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development. You will benefit from small class sizes, a fully digital learning environment, study abroad opportunities through our global partners, and an active student life.

Our School of Engineering undergraduate programs combine rigorous technical training with a well-rounded, future-focused education. Students engage in ample experiential learning through labs, projects, fieldwork, and applied design experiences that connect theory to real-world engineering practice. They are part of a vibrant community of researchers, practitioners, and peers working across disciplines in chemical, civil, computer, electrical/electronics, and telecommunications engineering. At the same time, AUN’s liberal arts core curriculum strengthens critical thinking, communication, entrepreneurial mindset, and ethical awareness. This integration of engineering, the humanities, and hands-on learning prepares graduates to innovate, lead responsibly, and solve complex challenges in a rapidly evolving world.

As a student of the School of Engineering, you are also a member of the Engineering Students’ Society (ESS), dedicated to solving societal challenges locally and globally. Find out more by writing ess@aun.edu.ng.
