Senate President Bukola Saraki Leads Stellar Cast of Dignitaries

The Senate President Dr. Bukola Saraki was among top dignitaries who graced the 13th Founder’s Day.

Lamido Adamawa, Dr. Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Musdafa, accompanied by an entourage of key emirate personalities made a grand entrance into the Commencement Hall with  pomp and ceremony.

Chief (Mrs.) Titilayo Atiku Abubakar, Princess Rukayyatu Atiku Abubakar, and Dr. Jamilah Atiku Abubakar, were also on hand to show support, alongside Dr. Fati Atiku Abubakar, Hon Commissioner of Health, Adamawa State.

From the Founder’s political family came former Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi; the Governors of Taraba State, Arc. Darius Ishaku and his wife; Gombe State, Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo, and Bayelsa State,  Hon Seriake Dickson. The Cross River State Governor, Professor Ben Ayade was represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Barrister Tina Agbor.

AUN Trustees Adamu Abubakar, Peter Okocha, Ike Chioke, and Aliyu Ahmed were also present. Other dignitaries include a former Deputy Governor of the old Gongola State, Mr. Wilberforce Juta; former Foreign Affairs Minister, Mr. Tom Ikimi, and members of the Adamawa Peacemakers Initiative (API).

AUN was honored to host such high profile guests at this year’s festivities, the likes of which has not been witnessed in years past.
