The Dean of the School of Business & Entrepreneurship (SBE), Dr. Attahir Yusuf, has announced that the School is introducing two new programs in the spring of 2019.
The courses; Agro-business and Public Administration & Policy, were unveiled at a forum where the Dean and program chairs interacted with students.
Professor Yusuf said that the new programs will be in line with AUN's commitment to adding value to the society by creating more interest and opportunities in agriculture as well as the civil and public sectors.
He also informed the gathering that in order to enhance its student-faculty relationship, the school is considering forming a business students' association.
The dean assured all new and returning students of the faculty’s continuous commitment to providing a world-class education.
"The responsibility of the University is to provide you with an environment that is conducive to learning and the necessary resources to carry out your studies effectively and efficiently; and we are all here to help you achieve these goals."
Professor of Marketing, Dr. Chris Mbah, encouraged students to be free in approaching their instructors and to interact with them as much as possible.
"Our engagements are not just about academics; we are also a family. We are like parents to you; so don't shy away. Confide in us concerning everything from academics to your social life, and we will give you the best advice."
