In its efforts towards creating, maintaining, and transmitting academic records as well as coordinating National Youth Service Corps batch submissions, the Registrar’s office in conjunction with the Admissions and Bursary departments organized an interactive session with final-year students, due to graduate this May and December respectively.
The forum was held to clarify issues students are normally faced with regards to graduation, NYSC mobilizations, while reinforcing the inter-relationship that exists between the Registrar’s office, Admissions department, and the Bursary.
During the interactive session, Associate Director of Admissions, Isa Usman, spoke at length about admission requirements and its link to the NYSC, while Godswin Ucha of the Bursary unit discussed the process involved in the refund of balance to students after clearance. The aspect of academic requirement for graduation was handled by the Registrar’s office.
At the end of the session, the students were delighted to have answers and clarifications to some questions and issues on their minds.
