Eke earned an MA in Communication and Language Arts from the University of Ibadan in 2012 and a BA in Mass Communication from the Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki, in 2005.

Prior to joining AUN in the spring of 2014, he worked as a reporter, copy-editor, book editor, and guest columnist. His research interests include journalism, literary journalism, and critical writing and reviewing. He has published some scholarly articles and the book, “Uses and Gratification in Newspaper Columns: A Thematic and Functional Analysis of Readers’ Reactions to Mike Awoyinfa’s Press Clips.” An essayist, Eke writes weekly blog posts on www.inkwellwords.net.
