Writing Competitions

To boost the reading and writing culture amongst students, the Writing Center holds competitions every semester, and these are open to all students.

Academic essays, creative writing, and spelling bees are some of the competitions the Writing Center conducts. In addition to certificates of achievement, winners also receive books and cash prizes.

A Season Of Writing Competition – Season 1
This interdisciplinary writing contest allows students in all majors to participate in topics they feel competent to attempt. It concretizes the liberal arts philosophy and enhances reading, research and critical thinking skills.

Writing Center-AUN Academy Essay Writing Competition
The Writing Center receives students from the Academy every semester and these visits are characterized by presentations on different forms of writing and practical hands-on-activities. The school year ends with an essay contest for the junior and senior categories and the prize-giving ceremony takes place on graduation day.
