Hi I'm Edward, I love good content, design, and programming. I major in Software Engineering and I am often found in the Writing Center except during class time. :)
I love helping people especially students having a hard time completing an assigned task such as an essay or research paper.

I know how hard it can be sometimes especially when you have to read a lot of sources and make sense out of all that you've read. This is why I love the Writing Center and joined them to help students who still experience difficulties in writing. The AUN writing center is understanding, fun, and a great place to become the next Woke Soyinka.

If you can't write your idea in a sentence then you can't convey your thoughts in an hour.

I think that the Writing Center is a good way for me to help students, as well as improve my own mastery of grammar. It's a wonderful experience and I love working there.

Level: Junior
Major: Biomedical Science

I am a Biomedical Science major in the School of Arts and Sciences. I am currently a junior and expects to graduate in the spring of 2019. I have great concern for the well-being of others and has a personal interest in women’s health. Hence, I desire to pursue medicine after my graduation from American University of Nigeria.

Passionate about making a difference, I am overly grateful for the opportunity to impact the lives of students as an AUN ambassador, a resident assistant, a student mentor, an honor society tutor, and a writing center tutor. Being a student tutor at the writing center has given me the chance to improve my writing and communication skills while helping other students to develop their own. In my free time, I enjoy writing poetry, reading novels, and watching movies.

I am Exploits Nicholas, majoring in Management and Entrepreneurship, and I am a sophomore.

The Writing Center has tremendously transformed how I write. Before now, I only feel within me when a sentence is wrong, but now, I know technically when a sentence is a run-on, fragment, dangling modifier and so on.

Also, my intra/inter personal skill has grandly improved. Having to deal with different kinds of personalities is fun to me. My co-tutors are great team players including the Writing Center staff. Each time we are on vacation, I long for school to resume because the Writing Center is an edutainment environment for me.

"I would describe myself as someone who is honest, ambitious and a motivated team player. I am extremely productive and easy to work with. However, I must point out that my sense of humor is second to none and I excel at anything I enjoy, and I enjoy being a tutor. I am currently in my third year, majoring in Business Administration and my email address is This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
