Stallions started the game with an impressive pace, ball possession, and better command on the court, while their GGSS opponent struggled to earn points in both sets.

Stallions led by team captain, Jennifer Emejuru shone on the court in each set, as they played with finesse and total control before an appreciative home crowd including President Ensign, who made it to the match venue to give them support. In the end, the team was all smiles with players Nneka Oringamje, Marilyn Elechi, and Chidinma Ukwungwu, rushing over to greet their supporters.
But the fun wasn’t all for players, Coach Gayus was also excited at the prospects ahead of his ladies following their brilliance in the game. "The team we played today is a better team. But the only thing we did was to destabilize their coordination and we succeeded; we played with a lot of confidence, focus, and it worked for us.”
Stallions Captain Emejuru also shared her moments of happiness with our reporter. “. … sometimes we lose confidence in ourselves, but I feel happy that we buckled up and had a lot of team spirit.”
