It was a show of excellence on February 3, 2018, when the intermediate class of the New Foundation School students dazzled their mates, staff and guests with their oratorical skills.
The event started at 4:00 pm and AVP Reginald Braggs who explained the reason for the occasion and urged the speakers to put their best foot forward raised the curtain. After the welcome address, the students rendered their speeches ranging from the essence of education to the influence of parents on a child.
The event was in two sessions. The first set of students presented their speeches, and Mr. Braggs assessed them and gave his remarks. The second set spoke and the Senior Academic Administrator, Ms. Habiba Jimoh, gave her remarks.
After all the speeches, Mr. Braggs commended the speakers for their outspokenness, preparation, poise, and excellent overall ability to give such wonderful speeches in front of such a large crowd. He encouraged them to continue their good work.
Also, some students won various gifts for presenting speeches extempore. A video show of past public speaking winners concluded the event.
